Music in McLean was founded 25 years ago as a way to bring top quality musicians to the community of McLean, Virginia. Over the years, the series has hosted the finest musicians in the Washington, D.C. area in addition to providing the backdrop for collaborations between choirs, orchestras and organists.
Over the years, Music in McLean has become widely popular, gaining recognition in fine publications such as the Washington Post and the Fairfax Times, as well as the attention of professional organizations such as the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) and the American Guild of Organists (AGO).
The series is devoted to reaching new, young audiences, frequently reaching out to college campuses in the area to promote events and offering free, or discounted, tickets to students for many performances. Please check the performance details for ticketing information on our calendar.
Music in McLean is managed by the Minister of Music and Liturgy for Saint Luke Catholic Church, Paul Skevington, who serves as the Artistic Director. All concert series inquiries should be directed to musicinmclean@gmail.com.

The Missioners of Christ is a Roman Catholic lay apostolate community committed to evangelization, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the building up of His Church. The hub of community activity revolves around the St. John Paul II Formation Center in Comayagua, Honduras. In collaboration with the priests of the diocese, the missioners work to meet the catechetical and sacramental needs of the communities they visit. Their work includes tutoring young children, working with boys and girls orphanages, translating and assisting at medical brigades, and leading youth ministry/confirmation events and retreats.
